RUA Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign - Northern Province
RUA member Dr. Edmond Nkubiri, Rwanda’s only fellow in surgical urologic oncology, speaking to the public during an awareness campaign in Rwanda’s Northern Province at Ruhengeri Hospital. The event reached over 400 people with information on prostate health, distributed prostate cancer flyers in Kinyarwanda (the local language), and screened more than 150 symptomatic patients.

Educational Session at CHUB Hospital - Southern Province
RUA Chairperson, Dr. Edouard Ngendahayo, delivered an engaging educational session during the prostate cancer awareness campaign at CHUB Hospital in Rwanda's Southern Province. His focus was on the asymptomatic nature of prostate cancer, benefits of early detection but also the toxicity of screening. The event drew over 250 attendees.
